"Shoutin Time!"
"Give a loud shout; then the wall.....will collapse." Jos.6:5
Are you fighting a
battle you're afraid you won't win?
You won't, if you're depending on yourself. Today God is saying to you:
"Do not be afraid..... for the battle is not yours but God's."
2 Chron. 20:15.
And God's never lost one yet!
Listen to what God
told Joshua,
" I have delivered Jericho into
your hands, along with it's King and it's
fighting men" ....Josh 6:2
Note, God didn't say, "I will
deliver" or "I might deliver."
No, He said, " I have delivered
Jericho into your hands!"
Israel already had the victory. Now they were being called to
act on it
and take possession. But the
question remained, how?
Joshua told the Israelites,
"When you hear...the trumpets...give a loud shout; then the wall
of the
city will collapse, and [you] will go....straight in Josh.6:5. Nobody
in
his right mind would expect a shout, no matter how loud, to bring
down
the walls of a city. But this was no ordinary shout....it was a
shout of
faith based on a guarentee God had made to them. Even though victory
looked impossible at this point, when Israel shouted, God responded
by bringing down the walls and opening the door to the promised
land.
When your facing overwhelming odds the last thing you feel like
doing is shouting, right? but here's why you need to do it regardless:
(1) The shout of praise always precedes victory.
(2) It puts your faith "on the record."
(3) It confuses the enemy.
(4)Obedience, even when you don't understand, always brings results.
So shout today....for the victory is yours!

Victory In Jesus
Let's sing and shout and praise
the Lord and put old satan on
the
run;
God's given to us His authority
and
satan is just a coward when all
is said
and done!
When we put our trust in our
God
His promise's in His word can
be
found;
and these walls of fear and doubt
will come tumbling down!
When we speak the name of Jesus
satan cannot hang around;
We'll send him back from where
he
came and he'll be tied and bound!
Our God is all that we will need
to keep him on the run!
By faith we'll live in victory
and this
battle with satan,in Jesus' name
will
be won!
Praise His wonderful name!
